A very quick commission of the AVcon mascots Ayvee and Switch celebrating next year's special 10 year anniversary theme: retro. If you stayed till the end of the closing ceremony then you may remember seeing this as they promoted next year, it's sure to be exciting!
I was asked to draw the mascots in 1980's anime style which was harder than I thought, hopefully you'll see the Nausicaa in Ayvee and the Captain Harlock in Switch.
Characters belong to their original creator and to AVcon inc. Assorted manga covers belong to their respective authors.

The shadows look really good too - my favourite is the shadow of the controller's wire, its really realistic looking C: A very nice touch!
